Metro Gymnastics Center along with the Metro Booster Clubs would like to welcome you to the 22nd Rose City Challenge, February 28 – March 1, 2020.

There will be over 30 teams competing from 5 different states. We look forward to seeing spectacular routines performed by some of the best gymnasts in the Northwest. It promises to be an exciting three days of quality competition.

Please note that the ROSE CITY CHALLENGE fills up quickly every year, so, the sooner you get your information in, the better!

Competition for Boys: Levels 4-10, JD
Competition for Girls: Levels 2-10 and Xcel

The RCC is pleased to announce that we will be offering DIVISION 1 and DIVISION 2 for all Compulsory levels – as well as the Junior Development level – for the Mens’ Program.

The Challenge will be held at the Beaverton YMCA and when you attend this magnificent meet, you will enjoy:

  • Level 4 : $80
  • Level 5-7 : $80
  • JD : $90
  • Level 8-10 : $100

Girls (per gymnast)

  • Xcel : $50
  • Level 2-6 : $80
  • Level 7-10 : $100

Teams (per team, not level)

  • Each Discipline : $50

ALL FEES & FINAL ROSTERS: December 4, 2017

Entries will be handled on a first received, first entered basis – this means full payment with a complete roster and information to attain entry. Deposits are not necessary and will not hold a spot for your team.


TEAM ROSTERS: All team rosters must be submitted via e-mail.


GIRLS: AA & Event Awards are based on the number of competitors

BOYS: AA & Event Awards are based on the number of competitors


Team scores are figured using the top 3 competitors per club, per event.

A much appreciated feature of The Rose City Challenge is the separate awards area which allows awards for the completed session to be distributed quickly and efficiently as warm-ups for the next session are underway.


All coaches will be REQUIRED to show their current Professional Membership Number prior to receiving the Coaches Packet and credentials for the event.


Coaches must check-in to their first session to get their packets, which will include: Complete meet & session info. Credentials for coaches.

  • Credentials must be worn to gain admittance into your own competition session and must be worn to provide free admission into all other sessions.
  • There will be no exceptions to this policy.


  • Hand stamps will be given to gymnasts during their check-in. This hand stamp will allow free admission into all other sessions.
  • There will be no exceptions to this policy.
